Delegation to City Council or a City Committee:

A person or organization wishing to appear before Council or a City Committee as a delegation must provide notice of that intent by noon on the Wednesday prior to the scheduled meeting. The number of delegations is restricted to 2 per meeting. An electronic copy of the Delegation Form (word document) or Delegation Form (pdf format) is available on our web site. Please send your completed form to the .

Regardless of the number of people in your delegation or the number of topics you wish to cover, the delegation as a whole is only permitted ten(10) minutes,with no extensions, to make its submission to Council. Delegations are encouraged to arrive in advance and ensure that their equipment is functional prior to their presentation. If hard copies of the presentation are to be provided to Council please ensure that you have 10 copies available. Please note, that any material that you provide can be made available to the public upon request. Council cannot hear delegations regarding:

• Official Community Amendment Bylaws or Zoning Amendment Bylaws for which the public hearing has been concluded;

• Matters on which the City has commenced prosecution, and on which judgment has not been rendered.

Watching Council Meetings on TV

Council meetings are scheduled twice a month. They are televised on Tuesday of these weeks at 9:00 p.m. on Shaw Cable 4.

All Shaw customers in the Lower Mainland with a digital cable box connected to their TV will require an A/B switch to view the meetings.
