Who can purchase the City of White Rock pay parking decal at the Development Services Department?
The City of White Rock parking decal is available for sale to full time residents of the City of White Rock.
Note: Parking is free for up to 4 hours for all vehicles bearing Veteran Licence Plates—and no parking decal is required.

What identification do you have to show to purchase a City of White Rock Pay Parking Decal?
You must provide your:

  •   British Columbia valid driver's licence and
  •   Current Owner's certificate of Insurance and Vehicle Licence
Please note both documents must show your current White Rock address.

Where do you place the City of White Rock Pay Parking Decal?
The City of White Rock courtesy Pay Parking Decal must be affixed to the driver's side lower inside of the windshield. The decal number is registered to your licence plate number. If you change licence plates you must register your new plates to match the decal. This transaction can be done in the Development Services Department in City Hall.

What does the City of White Rock Pay Parking Decal entitle you to?
The City of White Rock Pay Parking Decal entitles the holder to park free of charge for up to four (4) hours per day in any of the City of White Rock's pay parking areas only. (Marine Drive, Centennial Arena and the City of White Rock meters around the Hospital).

What does the City of White Rock Pay Parking Decal NOT entitle you to?
  • not entitle to park on streets posted as 'Resident Parking Only'.
  • not valid in the Hospital’s private parking lots.
  • not valid to park on the south side of Marine Drive between Finlay Street and Stayte Road. (Surrey meters)
  • not valid at the “Limited Time Parking” meters at the Arena, posted as ½ hr short term.

How long is the City of White Rock Pay Parking Deca valid? The decal is valid for a calender year, January to December and is not prorated. At the present time, Council has given a two month grace period to allow people time to renew their decals until the end of February.

Yellow Resident Pay Parking Decals 2010 cost $26.25 ($25 plus GST).

What do I need to display to avoid being ticketed in front of my resident?

• If it is a designated "Resident Parking Only" area, a Resident/Visitor Parking Pass must be displayed.
• Special event passes (dated) are available for your guests upon request.
